Applications

Online applications for the upcoming school year open on November 1st and run through November 30th.  Only current 5th graders through 11th graders may apply.  Siblings (within the same household) of current Gray Collegiate Academy (GCA) students must complete an application during the application window to receive a priority status. Parents/ Guardians must inform the registrar in writing of sibling status. Applications submitted after November 30th will be added to the bottom of the waitlist in the order in which they were received.  Multiple application submissions for the same child or applications containing incomplete or inaccurate information will be excluded from the application process.  All applications are processed and checked for accuracy.  Any falsification of information may result in your application not being processed and/or denied.  Enrollment preference is given to children of GCA employees without entering the lottery.  Applications submitted for the upcoming school will not be valid, rolled over, or processed in the following school year.  A new application must be submitted each year.  

 

Lottery Process

After the application window, if more applications are submitted than available seats, GCA will conduct a lottery.  

 

Returning Students

Students who wish to return to GCA that are in good standing must complete the Letter of Intent and pay the instructional/technology fee before the set deadline to have priority with enrollment.

If interested in GCA athletics, your child must be enrolled at GCA before beginning practice with any GCA teams. We encourage you to contact Kevin Heise, GCA Athletic Director at kheise@grayca.com directly to confirm SC High School League eligibility rules.
